Meet Elise
For as long as I can remember, I’ve cared about the space in which I spend my time. Whether I was constantly rearranging my room growing up, or organizing the family garage, it was clear from early on that I had an innate ability and desire to create beautiful spaces. Fast forward to 2018. After receiving my MFA in Interior Architecture and Design and working as a Design Rep for building products for several years, I took the leap and joined my contractor husband of Cascadia Design Build, where together we completed several kitchen and bath remodels. In 2023 I decided to start Foraged Interiors as a way to gain access to more creative projects and offer a wider range of services to clients across Central Oregon.
My design philosophy is to keep things approachable and laid back. Interior design is a luxury service, but it doesn’t have to feel pretentious. I want your space to evoke a sense of calm and to feel like it represents you and yours. To feel tailored and refined, but casual and most importantly, functional. Even tiny improvements as a result of a quick consultation can make a dramatic impact on how you live in your home!
I love living in Sisters and spending time in the natural beauty that surrounds us, with my husband and two little girls in tow. Having grown up in the Rocky mountains and always drawn to nature, our landscape has a direct influence on the types of interiors I create. I love incorporating a mix of textures and earthy materials, dried botanicals, plant life and thrifted antiques or family heirlooms. It’s important for a space to feel collected and authentically yours. I’d truly love to help you make that happen!
